Start Right Now!!

Alright put down the cookies, step away from the pie, enough of the egg nog!! This time of the year people have trouble with watching what they are eating, with all the candy, cookies, and the rest of the goodies just laying around from the holidays. Enough is enough it is time to take control of your own life, don't wait for your New Years resolution lets start right now!! Get out a piece of paper right at the top Short term goals and on the other side Long term goals. Now list your short term goals. Like get rid of the goodies is an easy goal to take care of first!! All goals should be realistic and achievable. Examples of short term goals:
1. Buys some fruit and vegetables
2. Go for a walk, run, bike ride
3. Do 10 push ups, 15 crunches, 10 Body weight squats, and 5 pull ups every day this week
4. Start a Food Journal (list everything you eat for a given day)
5. Hire a Trainer (Hint, Hint)

Once you have finished writing down your short term goals (remember short term goal should be easy to finish, so this list should be in constant change.)flip the paper over and start your long term goals.
1. I want to lose 10, 15 ,20 pounds
2. I want to run every day this year
3. I want to gain 10 pounds of Muscle
4. Run a 5k, 10k, or marathon
5. Just become an all around fit person

Remember you should be able to achieve these goals, but not as easily as the short term goals. By setting these goals for yourself it will give you something to check off on your way to better you. Remember starting a fitness routine is not easy but if you keep at it you will see results that will keep you want more.

The thing is you need to get started today, don't wait till tomorrow because if you wait, Tomorrow Will Never Come!!!!
