The most important part!

You set your goals! You pick how long you want your workout to last 30, 45 or 60 minutes. You decide how many days a week you want to exercise. Now your all set right! Wrong every work plan needs to have a scheduled rest day, or rest week! Isn't the whole point of working out getting up and doing something? I answer this with yes, but you can't over do it either. You body needs to rest. If you don't have rest day in your workout, you run the risk of over training. When you push to much your body will shut down and you will become injury prone!! Now rest doesn't mean you have to throw your legs up on the couch and watch TV! You just have to slow down, go for a hike, ski, swim, play with the kids, or go dancing. Rest week should be built in to a plan this lets your body recover and gear up for the next round of intense workouts. Remember your body needs proper nutrition, regular exercise, and rest. So the next training program you begin make sure to schedule in some rest days!!
