There is more to it!!

We are going to talk about what it takes to get fit and stay fit. Staying fit takes more than just exercising or eating right. It takes:

  • Balanced Diet

  • Exercise

  • Support Group

  • And YOU

Lets start with balanced diet, we have to rid ourselves of the chips, candy, soda, and the junk in the middle of the grocery stores. You need to stick to the outside isles like fruits, vegetables, whole foods, lean meats, and water. It is hard at first but beneficial over time.

Exercise this is anything from weight training to walking as long as you are up and moving at a brisk pace for 30 minutes or more its a start. A start because like anything else your body will adapt to what you are doing so you will come to a point where you will plateau. So keep your exercise fresh and new like your foods.

You are only as strong as your weakest link! If you do have help you will fail. Surround yourself with family and friends that want to change. Exercise classes, whole food workshops, exercise with family members, are all good thing to think about.

Lastly if you don't think about yourself once in a while then you will lose the battle of being fit. Remember obesity kills!!! If you want to see family and friends grow up then YOU need to step up and make a change...
